How did the “Rheingau Oldtimer Tours” come about?
The “Rheingau Oldtimer Tours” originally emerged from the “Rheingau Oldtimer Petrol Talk”. In May 2008, Stéphane organized the first meeting on the banks of the Rhine. Dieter was also one of the first visitors to the meeting. The first routes emerged from a shared idea of offering day trips with vintage cars. The first multi-day trip took place in September 2011 and took us to Alsace. Since then we have been regularly organizing trips and day trips. We only organize tourist tours, not rallies. Vehicles of all brands are welcome.

Dieter
A true Rheingauer, is our tour expert. He has gained years of experience as a rally and mountain race participant across Europe and travels with passion, preferably in vintage cars. He is a master at finding idyllic streets and exclusive sights, which he passes on in road books and tourist documentation.
Stephane
Born in France and known as the “Rheingau Frenchman”, he moved to the Rheingau in 1991 with his first classic car (Peugeot 403). Over the years he built up a large international classic car network through meetings at the Rheingau Classic Car Petrol Talk.
